After Gods Among Us, there will be a time ripple plot. Just side effects of the timestream being shattered and pieced back together, which, if you choose to participate, will have your characters sliding up and down their canon points or, in some extreme cases, temporarily being replaced with alternate timeline versions of themselves.
They will operate exactly as they do on the show, with stupid science and no actual fighting. Throwing things, bear hugs, etc. sure, but they'll be horrified if someone throws a punch.
I kind of have an ending in mind with the expectation that the Legionnaires don't treat them seriously and they end up winning and stealing the sun, holding it ransom until RJ Brande writes them a check for the sum of one million dollars and they go home, but we'd have to see how that goes.
Anyhow. I don't have an idea for a plot to run alongside The Legion Of Doom, but I'm open to suggestion. I strongly encourage you all look at the Plot In A Can post for ideas you might like, or go to the Plot Request Post to set up a player plot of your own if you'd rather do that.
Somewhere in there, possibly in the break between Legion Of Doom and the next set of plots, I'd like to have that Legion Fight Tournament that people keep asking about, but we'd have to see how the schedules work.
After that, so sometime in mid-late July or so if I've got things right in my head, I think we'll launch something megasquip and I have been tossing around.
The general idea is that Rita Repulsa manages to make her way through the rift and settles in to start conquering various planets with giant monsters. On the plus side, Zordon will be coming through as well, causing the Morphing Grid to spark and allowing for the Legion to temporarily become Power Rangers, complete with giant robots, to fight the monsters.
Both of them rolling in from roughly the In Space era, allowing the creation of any powerset from before then thanks to handwavium. We may or may not need to stretch into the Sentai costumes for powers that've never been seen on Earth, but that depends on how many people want to pour their guys into spandex.
I dunno if I should do that up as a new mod post. I've got pretty much everyone in the game on my plurk list, but if someone else would rather do that I'll let them.
