I'm excited because Ahsoka Tano is legit like top 5 all time best star wars characters for me <3

Her during the years of the Empire left (Rebels, around a few years before Rogue One era), her during the years of The Clone Wars as Anakin Skywalker's apprentice (between Episodes 2 and 3)

oh, and her during the early years of the clone wars

Ahsoka is a difficult character to like at first, because she's the annoying for-the-kids-POV character as Anakin's apprentice. She calls her master "Skyguy", for fuck's sake. But get past the early episodes of The Clone Wars, and you'll see her being essentially a younger, female Anakin Skywalker

...and her answer for "The Jedi suck" is a lot more reasonable, she just left :v

(it's also pretty funny how she has her sexiest outfit as a goddamn kid and she got more conservative as she got older)

(well, not really funny. If I remember correctly it's because she's a Togruta, a race of hunters- so she prefers to be unencumbered by robes and shit that stick to tree branches and whatnot)

(doesn't explain Jedi Master Shaak Ti, though. But fuck it)

sure. the first episode (that was released as a movie) was their first meeting when Anakin was assigned to be her master.

...and here I realize I haven't rewatched that movie since it was released in theaters and I watched it in MoA with my family.

yeah, cuz George Lucas had the brilliant idea of releasing the first story arc as a stand alone movie to announce the new series

it was... not well received, cuz it wasn't really meant to be a movie
