He does a good job of giving it a beat at least, which over half the pop music of last year was utterly lacking in, but it feels phony and tacked on whereas 2009, 2010, especially 2011, and last year all had beats that felt really organic to their set of music

And of the songs that were good from last year, few though they were, most of them did not feature here at all save for maybe a word or two

I mostly live on the rock stations anyway but I've been afraid to go back onto the pop stations after the phenomenal year that was 2015. Hopefully 2017 will be better?

Orz, I didn't mind much of the pop music in '16, but not of fan of this mashup.
