had a dream I was at a con wearing some kind of poncho with cool Animus on it and a small girl walked up to me speaking in really quick paced Japanese.

I don't speak Japanese. So I replied very alarmed with "NIHONGO YA NAI" and she just cracked up at me

Completely lost it. And I don't know what nihongo ya nai means but I don't think it merits a good minute of nonstop laughter

she apologized in Spanish afterwards. it was all very realistic.

apparently she'd thought the poncho meant I was con staff and understood Japanese.

that's pretty close to saying "I am not the Japanese language"
