zoro actually really really likes merry and sunny more than i initially thought. He never really expresses it out loud before water 7, but he watched merry the most often, and in jaya he's disappointed that merry was dressed as chicken instead of pigeon because he wants merry to look like they fly as well as pigeon. and that's so adorable
