Feel good story time! When did you first tell your SO that you loved them OR when did you realize that you loved your SO?

My SO was my flatmate for a while before we kinda slipped into FWB one drunken night with much wine. I suppose it was a few months into that arrangement that i realised i'd fallen for her and It really hit home just after New Year back in 2014.

Mine was a silly moment when he carried me over a puddle (verging on a mini lake) so my feet wouldn't get soaked.

Um, the first time I met him, on my 28th birthday. It took a while though because things were complicated.

i knew from the moment i saw him that we were going to end up together. i just knew. i told him i loved him about 3 months into our relationship. then we broke up. LOL but just for 3 weeks.

I knew that I loved him within the first two weeks. We were telling each other we "adored" the other, we both meant love.. took us maybe another month maybe less actually, to turn that I adore you, into what we knew it was. I love you.

I've never fallen in love with someone like that, that quickly, or that way. It was a completely new feeling.

like 7 months in I told him "i don't know why I put up with you, i must love you or something" does that count

I fell in love with him within weeks of meeting him online. We talked incessently for the first year, and then it tapered off. We caught up a few times a year after that, and then one day 7 or 8 years later after some fooling around we both confessed how we felt. Life didn't give us good circumstances, and we've endured some years of hardship to fix it.

But even if shit sucks sometimes, I do love him. I've loved him for almost half my life.

he took me dancing in sl and we were talking about some pretty deep stuff, rl stuff, brain stuff, and it just kinda fell out of my mouth. I couldn't stop it. I knew I loved him after our first long conversation, but I didn't tell him until that day because I was afraid he would run away.

I honestly don't like saying it, but they were the first one to actually take the time to understand my workings. I can't remember the specifics of the day, but I had felt it before I said it, and she said it first.

we went out on a Thursday and again on a Friday. I took him back to my apartment and we didn't have sex, at my request. just cuddled. I knew I loved him already but I didn't wanna tell him yet

and when we woke up and he was cuddling against me he was like "is it too soon for ME to say it?" and I kinda squeaked back "No." so he said it and I said it back.

My boyfriend and I met in a video game while I was with an abusive guy. He'd go out of his way to make sure he was always there for me is phone (long distance) when the abusive bf was being a jerk. It didn't take more than a few weeks to tell him how I felt and how grateful I was. -

-He helped me get out of the relationship and we've been living together for a decade now.
