woops missed, guys how do you like your sl electric devices to be wired, like for example do you prefer a lamp with a cable, and if yes, does it have to be plugged to the wall etc? I'm not sure how to manage this actually

I think things look cuter and more realistic with cables but then it's a bit less flexible for decorating I guess?

Adding to Devin's suggestion, maybe you can avoid baking in where the wire comes out, and make the wire a separate linkset from the base so people can adjust and pose it too.

You can always make the deco item mod to remove the cord or a script to hide the cord piece and you just click the item to hide it

I like having a plug but making it unlinkable or hide option as devin said!

If you can put a surge protector under your desk or to one side and plug in the lamp into that surge protector, that would be nice.

Depends on what I'm doing and how realistic I want things to be. Most of the time it's not an option. I like Devin's idea of having a hideable feature.

Having it hideable would be amazing, but also Walton's suggestion of making it a separate thing, so it could be moved/adjusted/etc
