so many saying that it was the best book they ever read and the reviewer didn't know shit

that if you read between the lines you'd see how great it was

also that it was for teenage girls so only teenage girls' opinions should matter, and if they like it, then it's fine

why is every fantasy YA romance all about how much teenage girls love being stalked and harassed and being treated like shit - wait nvm forgot where i was for a second

i think i remember reading a bit of hush hush and being instantly turned off of it because the guy was a colossal dickhead

granted it was morbid curiosity that spurred me to read it so my expectations were already low but jesus christ

he starts out by sexually harassing the viewpoint character. then you find out he's a rapist

oh good so he's actually worse than how i remember him

enslaving people and stealing their bodies to go have sex is a-ok if you're the hawt bad boy love interest!
