I hate taking sick days

especially for something dumb like a sore throat

but retail is a talky job and even more so when pretty much everyone is a regular

I'm just a terrible sick person,

and my mother was one of those people who was like "you're not dying or throwing up, therefore it's not that bad" sort of people

so now I feel guilty for sick days even though I know my boss would rather I didn't spread germs throughout the shop
