well, more the kind that knocks the power out for a minute than one that would actually be long enough to affect the heaters/temperature in any noticeable way, but the lights/clocks etc went out for a little bit

I don't think I've had the heaters go out (that I noticed) since I moved in here like six years ago, so let's hope it stays that way.

(and yeah, I got my grocery shopping done so I don't actually have to leave the house again until Monday (shops are closed tomorrow afteter all anyway) so it's more an annoyance than anything but I do love the internet ^^;; )

on the bright side, weather reports are indicating that the weather won't stay this bad for long; just another day or so before it gets both less cold and considerably drier, apparently

the latest news from my isp is that the're hoping to resolve this by "late afternoon/early evening today" soooo we'll see how that goes :<
