Astroneer ... played like 3 or 4 hours by now, and it's not even finished yet.

All you do is hop around the planet, collect resources, build things, collect more resources, build more things...

You need to have evergy and ogygen all the time, tho.

There are no threads except poisonous plants, exploding plants heavy storms what will kill you with flying rocks or suffocation (if you didnt collect enough oxygen).
