Got an email saying my "new" old style phone is being shipped. And suddenly the candlestick isn't harshly buzzing. Intermittent? Cold solder joint(s)? New phone (w/CallerID) still goes on desk. But...

... where to put the working/repaired candlestick? No way I truly giving it up unless it fails beyond repair - and repurposing should it still be physically intact.
