Also his team’s grasp of federal powers is fairly paltry. They had hours long meetings with outside advisors to figure out what could and couldn’t be delegated to Pence,

Well, he'll probably find people with more federal experience to advise him, so I wouldn't worry about him being unprepared two months from now. But his surprise is sadly hilarious.

This may be a prime example of the Peter Principle. His transition appointments hardly give me any confidence that it isn't happening.
