Round two of revisions are about to begin on The Daedalus Enigma.

My editor pointed out where I might be confusing readers and need to clarify things/match up my continuity to previous books in the series. She reminded me that although I know what I meant and who referred

to whom, I might not have been clear enough for my readers to follow along without having to look it up in the preceding books.

That's sometimes the hardest part of writing parts of a series ... just how much do you need to include from previous books and how much is too much?

In this case, I had to clear up some confusion and also bring new readers up to speed if they hadn't read the previous books in the series. (It happens with series sometimes. Someone stumbles across a book

which captures their attention without realizing it is part of a series until they are already into the story.)

The trick is to do it organically without just plopping a big fat boring recap info dump at the start of every book.
