[movies] I just saw The Arrival and it was beautiful. I mean, the cinematography was great, but the story was beautiful, the ideas, the precision of execution.

Highly recommend if you're okay with slightly slow and intelligent tense drama.

Director is Denis Villanevue, who did Prisoners and Sicario. Similar vein, though not as depressing.

The story is really good so I'm happy to hear they adapted it well
