It's not done yet. I am sending it to my admissions' adviser tomorrow morning or tonight. But more opinions the better.

The full title of this program I am applying to is: Special Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners

Yes. It is a mouthful. It's basically Special Education for ESL learners

I have no experience with Special Education teaching, only TESL. So my statement of purpose is really skewed to TESL. I just don't know how to tie in the Special Education portion beyond: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

Which does not have a very good ring to it

They have a masters program for ESL, just ESL. But I am trying out this program instead because I've already taught ESL in a number of ways and while it's still something I want to do.

I want something beyond that

So it's literally THIS SOUNDS NEW AND EXCITING lets go

But how does one word that into a statement of purpose? I am at a loss
