Ooookay. So my laptop AND desktop both died (though frankly the laptop shouldn't have been alive anyway) leaving me with only the various consoles in the house to connect to the net with.

I'm trying to revive the desktop, but if that fails I'll just need to get a new computer.

UPDATE: One of my brother's friends makes a hobby out of fixing up old computers, and he gave me an old laptop for free. So problem solved!
