I just got back a little bit ago from bringing Ruari to the vet

He has killer allergies and needed to get a shot to help out with those
聖騎士
Also updated his vaccinations while there.

He gained two more pounds.

I have no idea how he's the overweight one when he hardly eats as much as his brother, who is a skinny little thing.

Like. Ruari is more active than Kyou usually I think, too.
聖騎士
It's just his genes I suppose (they aren't really related)
聖騎士
But luckily they said his teeth are still doing okay. Last year he had to have four pulled due to having stomatitis.

I need to get Kyou back in just to get an update on his blood work and kidney levels, too
聖騎士
But he's been doing fine luckily
聖騎士
he's lost some weight again (he gained a lot while on the kidney diet) but he's still at a healthy weight
聖騎士
HE... I need to find a way to make him stop binge eating
聖騎士
he eats SO quickly that he makes himself throw up after. But if he'd stop swallowing everything whole it wouldn't happen.

He definitely does better on wet food, so I try to give them both half a can of wet food a day
聖騎士
and then they get to nibble on the dry food throughout
聖騎士
Ruari took forever to get into his cat carrier. I wish there was an easy trick to getting him in without a massive fight -_- Because I always feel SO BAD fighting him on it

he used to go in fine until his teeth started getting pulled
聖騎士
Last time I took him to the vet he was so scared he peed in the carrier -_-
聖騎士
And you can't get mad about it because... it was only due to being scared and distraught
聖騎士
Getting him back in it to come home was a lot easier.
聖騎士
He went right in like TAKE ME BACK NOW
聖騎士
Both my cats are really gentle cats though. They don't hiss, bite or scratch at people or the vet. Kyou might prance around the room a bit. Ruari just... FREEZES

And tries to duck his head against me
聖騎士
it breaks my heart each time
