Probably means they lost connection. It doesn't read all the ink you put down or kills you get no matter what reason you leave the game

That wasn't even the worse lost we had though, one team we were up against was like top tier or something covered the whole map and then camped just outside our spawn, we couldn't jack against them

yeah the matchmaking in splatoon is not well done :c
