Just booked a trip to the Åland islands in less than two weeks!

Unusual for a Stockholmer of my age, I've never been there! I dislike the great ferries with their "who cares where we're going, just stay on the boat and get drunk" culture

so I'm taking a smaller ferry instead, not from Stockholm but from a bit up north

staying two nights at a cheap hotel on Mariehamn, the Åland "capital" on the main island!

will have to exchange a few of my kronor into euros beforehand

I'm taking the trip on my own and since I still don't have a smartphone, I'll probably drop off the net for those three days. I'll have to bring plenty of books to read!

(or comics/manga but those don't last as long...)
