I wonder if there's meta comparing The Killing Joke to the flashback in RotJ

in particular comparing and contrasting Barbara's role in the former with Tim's in the latter, and Barbara's role in the latter too

I haven't read TKJ, but from what I understand Babs was pretty much a non-lethal textbook fridging and never given thought outside of her role to cause pain for the men

Joker probably thought of Tim in pretty much the same way in RotJ, though he gave Tim more personal attention, but it directly backfired on him

AFAIK, Babs didn't do anything to the Joker in TKJ
