conjυnх endυra
did. did you put the tortilla right on the burner

July, July
...yes.

July, July
That's what you do with a gas burner!

conjυnх endυra
so electric stoves are gonna need pans for everything...

conjυnх endυra
to distribute the heat

July, July
Yes. I've figured that part out.

conjυnх endυra
s'ok, I wouldn't know what to do with a gas stove. never had one

Zak

Omg the swirl

♕ blorp bleep ♕
It's ok I wouldn't know how to work an electric stove either

July, July
I was just "...this should work the same in theory, right? I mean we rest the tortilla on the burner with gas stoves..."

July, July
IT DID NOT WORK THE SAME AT ALL

July, July
And then the second came out too dammed burned...

Artell
What's the best way to prepare tortillas on an electric stove? A cast iron pan? I only have a teflon.

July, July
I don't know! I've only ever used an electric stove at my gran's house and never to heat tortillas!

Artell
Oh I wasn't asking you, I was asking the other people!

Artell
I just heat mine in the microwave because I'm a philistine

shivorce
electric stoves are the woooorst

hint lord
i'm the opposite -- every place i had with a gas stove, it was either broken or downright dangerous to use because the apt was built in the 20s and never upgraded

hint lord
tortillas are fine in teflon pans. i've never had a problem.

hint lord
though i've been meaning to get a cast iron for a while

hint lord
i like to add a bit of oil to make sure it doesn't stick but give it a few seconds on medium heat and it should be fine

hint lord
but honestly a microwave is easier.

hint lord
if you're just heating them up
