[politics-kinda] So I had a random idea last night and now I'm sad that I can't program/code

and also wondering why this isn't a thing yet

But there should be like...a website, or even an app of like whotovotefor.com

where you can just input your state, specify senator or house rep, and then select like 3-5 issues most important for you, and list whether you're for or against

like gun control, LGBT rights, environment, education, etc

That is a thing that exists, actually

and it gives you back the best match for what you want to vote for

because YEAH that would be super useful for stuff like senator/house rep/local offices...everyone knows on the president, but rarely on the stuff closer to home
