It's a variant runthrough of FFV where instead of having access to all umpty-something jobs, you're assigned 4.

and not only are those the only four jobs they get, their party has to have one of each of them at all times once they've unlocked all of them

It's a really great way to play the game. I always found that a completely unfettered go at FFV can be hard because you have so much choice!

I did a Chaos run last year and my jobs were Berserker/Berserker/Dancer/Dragoon.
