I'm hoping Adrian and I haven't overcommitted with volunteering this election. We should be fine, we just have so much other stuff happening.

Dakota 🐦‍⬛🪵 : Yeah I'm a member of the Australian Greens and I generally help out at election time. The Australian federal election will be on the 2nd of July so it's kind of crunch time.

This is Adrian's first year volunteering, I'm proud of him for putting his hand up.

I really wish it was mandatory to vote in the US

Next Tuesday is the last Dem primary day, so it will finally be over, hopefully...

Dakota 🐦‍⬛🪵 : it really should be, non-mandatory voting only works fairly in a utopia because in real life it just ends up as a way to disadvantage already marginalised groups.

Don't get me wrong, that still happens here but the voting system makes it harder to do.
