he also told me to stop taking my asthma meds because they can get toxic if blood levels are too high. which. yeah. no

but I guess I did get confirmation that I have been running a fever (102) and I lost over 15 pounds in five days, both of which I suspected already

(I doubt that it was a virus, though, because if it was, highly likely that someone else in my would have caught it. my sister is particularly prone to them)

no, but I haven't really had any nausea. that thankfully went away after the first 16 hours of this

Okay, so, as gross as it tastes, you need to keep going with the Pedialyte, if you can. You lose a lot of electrolytes with diarrhea, and that can screw with your heart, especially the potassium.

yeah, I'm going to go see if I can get more of a flavored kind in a few, see if I can tolerate that better

A fiber bulking agent can help at this point to slow down the diarrhea, too, so something like Metamucil. Usually it's used for constipation, but it can help with really loose or watery stools, too, but giving

at this point I'll take anything to slow it down. all I've had is water (and lots of it) in the past 22 hours, and it still hasn't stopped (I mean, there aren't completely undigested food chunks in the liquid
