So apparently we were right about something with our Rottweiler, she definitely protects her friends.

For background she's pretty small by Rottie standards, and usually she's more than happy to play and pal around with other dogs.

So our one neighbor's German Shepard must've been wandering and ended up coming down, and she was playing around with it just fine.

Problem is that our Jack Russel is a little dickhead, and will try to fight new dogs that come around the house. Being a jack russel, the size doesn't bother him, he'll still try.

So Rascal ended up fighting with this dog, and apparently Jessy knocked it down a bank, and went for it, before promptly sending it running back home.

Jessy is a perfectly friendly dog, but it's reassuring to know she'll protect the other dogs.

Hopefully none of the dogs are hurt at least.

I don't think they were, mom went up and talked to the guy who owns him.

The owner was actually asking mom if we wanted him afterwards, beautiful dog from what mom tells me, but we can't take him considering Rascal.

Mom called our friend about him, and she's going over there after she's done working to look.

All of our other dogs are pretty friendly with other dogs, but Jack Russels tend to be territorial little fuckers.

Shame really. Dogs are always nice to have.
