benedict cumberbatch has a v distinctive voice, but he sounds unrecognizable when he's doing a boston accent

in other news i have 103 of these damn monopoly tickets to go through

he sounds like house

he doesn't have that slight lisp to his speech that hugh laurie gets with some syllables but yeah they do have a sort of gravelly thing going on

i actually just finished the night manager last night and laurie's voice in that one is interesting too

slightly different accent than i'm used to hearing him use, i think, even when he's not playing an american

(also the night manager was v good)

but like usually you don't even need to be looking at the screen to know cumberbatch is talking, but with this i keep having to go 'oh wait right that's billy' (his character)

IDK why i find it interesting it just is to me

in other news, my xbox should be here tomorrow or the next day so i bought da:i and destiny and got bioshock infinite the other day

i assume cumberbatch was doing a boston accent since the movie was set there but idk

yeah, he was. A p good one, although he doesn't look Bostonian at all.
