[RID] I know a writer who should NEVER be writing for Strongarm ever again. (Possible spoilers in comments)

Just, ugh. Mairghread Scott handles her TERRIBLY.

Taking herself off active duty while HALF THE TEAM is unavailable is probably one of the most wildly out of character things I could imagine.

And she never acts this mopey when other writers handle her.

Okay, finished the episode now. Ended decently, but I just don't buy into this crisis of confidence plot.

Funny thing is, looking back, she's also written a couple of episodes I really like, and she handled Strongarm really well, so this is kind of confusing.

Maybe this was an unused plot line from Season One or something?

It's also possible this could just be similar to lots of animated shows that write from the story bible, and so characters keep relearning lessons.

It probably just stands out because I love Strongarm so much and the premise just didn't click for me.

Feel like it would've been better if maybe she was just being overly cautious or something like that.
