[Oscars] Finally getting around to checking out the nominees and I'm surprised by some of the things I'm seeing!

Some genre movies getting high level nominations (Mad Max nominated for best picture????).

Hateful 8 getting some hefty categories.

And I love all the actors nominated but gdit Leo needs to finally win his damn Oscar.

Also hey, Ennio Morricone is still out there doing amazing music.

If Mad Max doesn't get BP I'm gonna be so disappointed

I honestly have no idea what's going to win. From what I've heard all of the nominees are incredible.

Like there are some serious juggernauts in that bunch.

But it's really a miracle that Mad Max even got a nomination like that. The voters rarely go for genre except with token categories.

That's true, yeah

This shocks me even more than Johnny being nominated for best actor for Pirates.

Man, I've hardly seen any of these movies, and I want to see ALL of them.
