it would be easier to count the bits of me that don't hurt today. Aaaall because I made a really bone-headed split-second decision yesterday

while completely sober is the worst part

(I ran for the bus and decided to jump from one piece of concrete to one about four feet down--and only realized in the split second before I leapt there was mud directly below)

(but the sidewalk was a couple feet out, so I aimed for the sidewalk)

(and I uh, landed on my feet, but didn't quiiiite stick the landing, so my knees look ridiculous and hurt lots)

the best part was where the girl waiting at the bus stop just turned and stared at me..... andd then turned back around because haha fuck asking if someone who's just fallen is ok I guess???

I did! And the driver asked if I needed a "napkin or something" which I thiiiink was because my knees and the hand I aso landed on were wet from the rainwater?

But I was headed home so it was like naaah I'm good
