Okay, asking for opinions: Some years back, I was pretty close friends with a designer in SL. Coming up on 2 years ago, we had a falling out. (continuing in comments)

The tl;dr version of what happened is, after I kept working to promote her store and blogging for her for a year+ while she was away dealing with her own depression/RL shit, I was suddenly "too depressed" to

be dealt with any longer.

Now, during the time we were friends, and I started expressing an interest in making my own clothes for some things, she gave me edit perms, and told me that -anything- in the store, including her templates and

textures, I could take. This started with her clothes, so I didn't have to wait on her to be online to get a copy for blogging. It was part of my payment. Then she said when I was talking about buying textures

that I could grab those as well. I did buy some of the templates and textures, and won some off the MM board and found others in hunts she hosted. Then everything eventually went to shit.

Here's where I need opinions: as the textures and templates I didn't buy were gifts or payment for blogging, or were other wise won/found in hunts/under her yearly Christmas tree, would it be inappropriate

for me to use these textures/templates in my builds? The templates are just the shapes of the clothes, and I'm mostly interested in them so I don't have to waste time lining up seams. Then I feel weird having

all of these textures in my inventory (now boxed up) that are just... sitting there when I could use them.

Were the textures her original creations? of things she purchased to remake? if they were hers, I works consider them payment for services tendered.

If the textures originated from another creator, I would be wary, as you could be breaking tos.

The textures were hers, as far as I know. She also sold them in her store, and they're still up in her MP. For clothes she made, she would use sculpt kits, but prims were never part of template sets.

I might reverse search on GIS and see if I can find matches
