Do you get more excited about stores where the owner is a secret, or new stores from established creators?

Neither? I get excited to see new, well made things regardless of the source.

^ same, neither... i'm excited to buy things i think are pretty, that's about it.

I agree, I dont mind as long as its good items created. Although i am more likely to trust that items will be of a certain standard if its by a creator i know...If that makes sense?

I have no real preference but I don't see the point in secrets, they're always outed or come out in the end! I am excited if the stuff is good!

One thing about established stores, is you know who is a Legit designer. A new store needs to establish if they are legit. I dont think it matters if it's an alt store.

Yeah, I think stores get to that legitimacy place more quickly if you can tie a brand to a known entity or group. There was one store I liked, but couldn't tell if stuff was templates, so I didn't buy.

Then the creator was like, "oh, by the way, I came back after being gone, and rebranded" and I knew I could trust the work and pricing model.
