At that age a new one is definitely the better choice. There's expense either way and no telling what else may go wrong next.

ToriLok: new one. they're going to be able to save the copper tubing so that lowers the cost. he tried to get me to get little extras and i looked at him with that MOM LOOK and said, nah.

ToriLok: a new valve. just another hundred bucks. it actually does not need replacing
