first day of classes today! And already I've had to follow up on a meeting request with "actually I'm fully booked for the next two weeks..."

meh. one sucks but it's required. one is mediocre and I think I'm going to drop it. I'm going to another one today that I think (hope) will be really good

and there's two more that only meet on Mondays so i don't get to go to them at all until the third week of classes, after Rosh Hashanah...

Awkwardly scheduled classes those. I'd think there would be enough Jewish students to make that worth rescheduling?

not in Minnesota apparently, they're really not used to Jews here. all my professors are really understanding though.
