almost hit a coyote this morning.

It was silhouetted by the median and the light was just right for me to not be able to see him.

Until he popped out in the middle of the next lane. :T

I almost hit a box turtle yesterday, so you're not alone in the animal near misses lately.

Every spring the canyon roads around here end up littered with corpses. It's so sad.

Usually they're small animals, but occasionally there will be a coyote or deer.
