I must confess I've been avoiding the news today but having just seen it I'm afraid none of it makes sense. That's the budget of a moron even without the spitefulness.

The Living wage is good news, but changing the student maintenance grant to a loan is dumb, because the only people eligible for that are poor/from disadvantaged backgrounds

it does have the positive for having the max limit raised to a whopping 8k but its another 8k loan on top of the 9k a year for Uni.

also whats a Northern Powerhouse and where can I see it
