Yeah, I can't say I sympathize for the mum. I feel sorry for the daughter, though.

like: mum's first concern today after the mental health referrals were sorted was "my daughter has bags under her eyes is she having heart problems D=" because, of course, that's what she's got

I had to explain that no, this means she's probably not sleeping well, and sure enough you ask the girl what she does when she's sent to bed and she stays up late reading & watching TV
