- Girls do not spend their entire time being catty and rude to each other over a boy

- Main characters don't spend their entire time hating their future significant other and protesting the idea of being into each other only to realize suddenly at the end they love them

- Characters don't get angry at the idea of being with someone, then angry jealous at the idea of someone else being with them

- Female characters do not, as a rule, dress provocatively for no reason or when it would make no sense in the situation to dress that way

- We don't get panels of girls mostly naked for no reason while things are going on that aren't really relevant

- The main character does not act as if he's been dropped on his head, and his shrewdness is actually relevant.
