like, I can hear everyone around me, they're getting normal calls that are for us, but I keep getting random-ass WAY wrong office calls

That way you convey 1. "I know what I'm doing (no additional info plz) 2. "I am putting you on hold, shh," 3. "You will be taken care of so it's worth it to wait."

the problem with that is to transfer a call I have to have the number RIGHT THERE, because our transfers don't automatically go to hold

so even if I try to transfer, they still talk at me until I actually find the number.
