WHICH. In my constant effort to make Marvel make sense, I have found can be considered a Russian Male name.

Here is my source on that, scroll down to #4, but to summarize, Alian (or Al'yan or Aliyan) is a name that originates in Bashkortostan.

So, in essence, she's probably part Bashkir in some way or another.

Allison doesn't have a canon one, but I've bandied back and forth with various ideas.

Marie is one, Katherine is another.

I don't know if I'd want to saddle her with Kate's name, though.

It's unlikely to ever come up in RP so I haven't really thought about it beyond 'oh that would sound nice'.
