.3mm most people would have a lot of difficulty differentiating from .4 mm or .2 mm. Some could sort by .1 mm but a lot not even that.

that today the report says another 0.3mm.

the period at the end of the sentences are about that size.

if it is 1 pt, it is possibly slightly larger than 0.3mm, but not quite .4 mm.

so...not much rain, then.

the instrument might be off, or that they got a significant amount less than here, because the road was fully wet both days, and thinks it unlikely that 0.3 mm would have caused that.
