and I don't think she shapeshifts to make greg uncomfortable like he said, rather she feels uncomfortable with herself and feels like she only has shapeshifting as a defining feature

mmh, I think the gems understand it pretty well. it's just that normally, Gems don't die, so what happened to Rose is probably not a normal occurrence
