ah. I remember having my eyes dilated before I had laser eye surgery, and I'd rather have the surgery again but would be fine never having to have my pupils artificially dilated again. Eek.
Gah
Is.
i kinda want surgery, but at the same time I don'thave the funds, but mostly the thought of someone skinning my eye WHILE I WATCH is nothing i think i can mentally handle
you cannot see what's happening. After propping your lids open and the numbing drops they shine a bright light in your eye. You feel the slightest pressure, then see all blackness, then a pinpoint of white
light. It's over in moments and they move on to the next eye. When I sat up from the table I could read the digital clock across the room whereas before I couldn't see detail on a face directly in front of me
also the place that did my eye surgery included post-op vsits in the contract as well as follow-up surgery should I require glasses later on and choose to have another surgery instead of going back to glasses.
mine was bladeless which, at the time, was exactly double the cost of Lasik (I had Intralase). Mine was $2,500 per eye, about 10 years ago. I financed it for 0% and paid it off within a year.
Right, so uhhh I'ma need someone to start a charity event so I can get my eyes did >.>... I think the billbord said Starting at like $799/eye or something soooooo C'mon guys..(Is totaly joking btw)

: I didn't have the gravel thing. Did your eyes water and burn? About 30 minutes after the surgery, just enough time to get to the hotel (it was 90 mins from home and I had to have a 24-hour checkup)
once I got to the hotel I could NOT keep my eyes open. They burned so much and watered, and it was like I was physically unable to keep them open. I had to eat dinner with my eyes closed!
but the next day there was no pain or anything. I remember having to wear the guards, though, which were like weird plates you taped to your face so you didn't rub your eyes at night. Saucer face.
Yeah the gravelly think was like I had sand in my eyes that wouldn't was out and they gave me space man spiff goggles to wear at night and I did something else to basically hold my hands down at night
