I give Channing these points: he grew up in the Mississippi bayou (accent), and he's a big fan of the character (like RR is of DP).

Overall, his natural voice doesn't bother me too much. I just keep nitpicking more at his face.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I couldn't stand Taylor Kitsch in the role - I found him petulant and annoying as opposed to Gambit's badassery - and I think CT could bring something interesting to it.
