I posted a public #newhere pay on Diaspera and got a lot of comment. A lot. It was fairly unnerving. I didn't expect the response.
DremeMynd
Other people had been getting a response, but less of one. James didn't get nearly the response I did, and in my opinion his post was ...
DremeMynd
... considerably more interesting than mine. Yeah, if you are on there you can see it. I almost deleted my D* account due to stress.
DremeMynd
But I have it under control now, I think the initial fear and shock has worn of.
Imperatrix
You did a great job, and I'm proud of you for not deleting. hugs

I liked both your posts, but I had trouble reading his... I'm old fashioned and don't like #hashtags very much.
DremeMynd
I find the hash-tags distracting, too. He just has so many interests, it makes sense to him to use them. I struggle with feeling like I'm not really passionate about anything.
DremeMynd
I'm still kind of shaken up, but doing better.
Imperatrix
I'm sorry you're so shaken up. If you need to talk, we're here. <3
Eryn Curie
What a great reception! That's certainly an encouraging show of support there.

I don't know what the tag #newhere actually means, but I'm guessing it's one that a lot of people follow?
DremeMynd
It means "New Here" as in, I'm new here, and yeah, people are eager to have new people around, I guess.
DremeMynd
I'm really grateful to have all of you here to talk to, and there to talk to for that matter.
Eryn Curie
Oh wow, I thought it was ne where, like lazyspeak for "anywhere".
Eryn Curie
Wow I totally missed the really obvious meaning.
Avery
So did I, Eryn! :-D Parse fail....
