THE COOKENING BEGINS I am making a truly absurd amount of pie crust

at least the dry ingredients look like an absurdly large amount

if I have spare crust after my pot pie, maybe tomorrow I will acquire ingredients to make some glorious pot pie monstrosity of bacon and cheese and potatoes

but tonight's project is chicken pot pie

I spend several hours agonizing over whether I wanted to go to the effort of pot pie or order pizza

and desire for pot pie eventually won out over laziness

which should tell you how much I want pot pie

also I have a couple of white nectarines that need eating.

I should use this half-hour of chilling the crust to prepare my ingredients :|a cut up the chicken cut up the veg boil down the stock

okay pumpkin pie is going on hold because I realized I only have canned pumpkin, not actual pie filling, and making it into a filling is more Cook than I am willing to do tonight

but. I have the power. I can do it.
