Intro plurk! Because I've added a few new people recently.

I'm Claire. I'm 23, scottish, and a professional engineer.

I work on oilrigs. Normally I work offshore in the North Sea, but right now I'm on loan.

So I'm currently in the middle of FUCKING NOWHERE in Argentina

It's extremely dry and dusty. Also, winter here is hilarious. It's like summer back home.

But with less rain.

I'm working 12 hour days 7 days a week right now, so if I seem a little all over the place, that would be why.

Also I've had to switch from day shift to floating shifts to night shift and then back to day shift all within the last week, and augh

But yeah. Uh, when I'm not being worked to death, I enjoy football ("soccer"), F1, and alcohol.

Also sleep. I enjoy sleep. I miss sleep.

I hear it's different in other parts of Argentina, but here? It's just dry and windy. It gets kinda cold at night, but during the day it's lovely.

It's pretty wild XD I'm still occasionally amazed and confused by the fact that this is my life

That is one hell of a job!
