well now I'm just confused, wifi won't connect, the cable in my room doesn't let me connect, but a cable down in the basement where the router etc are DOES work

Sounds like something got unplugged

actually I think the heat might have something to do with it, seeing as it's nice and cool in the basement and this problem seems to crop up in the heat of the summer
