6. Ok I will admit that I spent far too much time snickering over the Troubling Penguin Mask when I first found it/gave it to Ammond. Also every other time it has been relevant. I'm just way too fond of it.

15. I really enjoyed the CR between Murai and GHB in Jarjammed. It wasn't something that came up very often
big woop
because generally she tried to stay out of his way but in the two years I've played her he was probably the closest to operating on the same
big woop
cultural paradigms as she does of anyone she's interacted with and it was really cool to navigate her having a good idea of how and why he worked the way he did
big woop
- and wanting to have that common ground with someone - while still completely disagreeing with him conceptually and viewing him as a threat.

13. Besides the plethora of cross-canon crack ships I take far too seriously (which, I mean, shout out to Ammond<>Ienzo 5eva)? JJ really turned me onto Hippie Rebel Poly rather than just First Ship.

5. One of my earliest threads with Murai was when she had to ask Ghost to explain emoticons and that was really a solidifying moment for how I was going to play her.

Playing a smart, adaptable character from a very low-tech canon in a game that was so technology driven as JJ was interesting, and that conversation was really cute, too.

>Throwdown Redux with Ammond and Sollux was also wonderful, and by wonderful I mean terrible, awful awful yellowbloods being awful at each other I love it
big woop
Somewhat more recently Ammond being a big mopey wiggler about shit, and making Jay (try to) be the emotionally competent one for once, was really fun to write.

17. I've always figured, based on a: canon art b: their social dependence on color and c: because it's more convenient for me,
big woop
that even in the depth of the dark season, Alternian nights don't get nearly as dark as it gets on Earth, at least not as dark as it gets on Earth in areas that don't have significant light pollution,
big woop
in addition to Alternian days being way the fuck more intense than Earth days. Which means that besides being able to go out in Earth-equivalent sunlight with only minor discomfort
big woop
(trolls do sunburn more easily, but most would at least at first be so paranoid about sunlight that they'd take care to avoid excessive sun exposure) trolls also would have
big woop
some trouble with a dark Earth-equivalent night. They can still see better and with more color definition than humans, but to put it in DnD terms, they've got low-light vision, not darkvision.

3! And also 9 and 10 too?

3. Gosh. Uh. Probably characters I'm interested in CR with? I mean I've been known to app to games for other reasons but generally it's for either character or player stalking potential.
big woop
I also generally prefer smaller/slower games because I am slow as all getout and get overwhelmed easily

9. Ammond, hands down. She's outgoing, clever but with very little common sense, and with just enough troll-related hangups to keep drama happening without preventing her from wanting close CR with non-trolls
big woop
She also bonds with people easily and generally wants to believe the best of people. And of course playing her gives me the opportunity to play with troll culture and language. Which I love.

10. this one's harder, but I really think that the time I spent with Fang at Jarjammed wasn't a great idea. I love her, and I love her canon,
big woop
but a small, aggressive child with literally no sense of self preservation was not a good fit for a game with significant physical and metaphysical peril and a very real chance of permadeath.
big woop
I ended up having to drop her because I couldn't figure out how to get her adjust to the setting without being traumatized beyond all recognition
